POSITION DESCRIPTION
Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic School is an independent Roman Catholic K-12 school of the Diocese of Peterborough Ontario committed to providing an authentic Catholic liberal arts education.
Our Lady of the Wayside is seeking qualified teachers for our Occasional Teacher List for both elementary and secondary levels.
Those added to our occasional teacher list may work as short-term daily occasional teachers or may apply to permanent postings should any become available throughout the school year, and for which they are eligible/qualified.
The ideal candidate will be a person committed to the new evangelization with a passion for accompanying and mentoring young people in their Catholic Christian walk, committed to excellence, professional, flexible and collaborative.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A university degree or post graduate degree
- Educational experience
- Experience with Catholic classical liberal arts education or willingness to learn
