MISSION
Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic School (OLWCS) is an independent Catholic school where the rich traditions and teachings of the Roman Catholic Church are celebrated and brought to life for the modern times through a classical liberal arts based curriculum. OLWCS seeks to preserve the innocence of childhood and form Catholic leaders for the future by fostering a rich, nurturing, faith-filled environment that rigorously and holistically educates the mind, strengthens the body, and tends the soul. OLWCS serves the Catholic Church, students, families, members of the school community, and the broader community, with a spirit of charity. OLWCS contributes to the rebuilding of Christian culture through its active participation in the life of our diocese, parishes and communities.

VISION
OLWCS will grow and continue to build on its successes while staying true to its apostolic spirit. It will remain faithful to the Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church. OLWCS will have a positive impact on the Church and society through the formation of its members and its model of Catholic classical liberal arts education. OLWCS will be fertile ground for the growth of vocations to religious and married life. The fruit of this will be seen by the growing number of families of alumni who are instilled with a strong courageous faith and by the numbers of priests and religious sisters who will come from our school. OLWCS’s educational model will be the program of choice for Catholic education for the foreseeable future.
