Tom Wigglesworth

Biography
Tom and his wife Wendy have been involved with Wayside for over a dozen years. Four of their six children have attended, and their youngest child Sophie is attending at present. During their time with Wayside, Tom has acted as a supply teacher, filling in at any grade level as required. Tom is an OCT qualified teacher, having attended at OISE, and also has his certification as an adult trainer through Durham College. He also spent 30 years working in industrial construction and training. In his home parish of St. Alphonsus Liguori, Tom has been facilitating the RCIA program for almost a decade and is active as a choir member and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Tom was also the Director for the youth led Way of the Cross 2023 on Good Friday in Peterborough. At Wayside, he has been a badminton coach for the last few years and has been involved in numerous school events and building projects. Tom has always taken great pride in responding to the call to get involved in the Catholic community whenever a need presented itself.
