Abbey Connell

ABBEY CONNELL grew up in a large, Catholic family of twelve. Before taking on the role of grade 3-4 homeroom teacher, she volunteered at Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic School, in the elementary classes for a teacher placement. Subsequently she also taught high school art. She is a graduate of Trent University, where she served as the president of the university's Catholic Student Group. As a homeroom teacher, she seeks to cultivate a vibrant Catholic identity that helps guide students in their spiritual growth and academic achievement.
