POSITION DESCRIPTION
Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic School is an independent Roman Catholic K-12 school of the Diocese of Peterborough Ontario committed to providing an authentic Catholic liberal arts education.
Our Lady of the Wayside is seeking an experienced Part Time Custodian 12 hours per week at times of mutual agreement.
The ideal candidate will be a person with experience and good ability in cleaning and facility upkeep and maintenance, both immediate and long term.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND QUALITIES
- cleaning and facility maintenance experience
- excellent and thorough cleaning ability
- knowledge of safe chemical storage and good chemical management
- excellent organizational skills both for cleaning and supply/inventory control
- excellent prioritization and sense of initiative
- physical ability to complete the work
- some minor fix-it skills and ability to make recommendations/liaisons for larger scope needs
