TJ Stevens

TJ Stevens has a strong passion for Catholic education and helping students not only achieve academically but also spiritually. Prior to joining the team at Our Lady of the Wayside he was Headmaster at Chesterton Academy of Ottawa for eight year where he also taught Math, Science, and a smattering of other courses.His first full time teaching role was in a small Inuit community in northern Quebec where he took on both teaching and leadership roles within the school. It was during this time that his oldest two were born in New Brunswick. TJ holds a Masters degree in Education in teaching and learning theories with a special focus on students with ADD/ADHD alongside his Bachelors in Education and in Arts. He and his wife have six children and are all very excited to be a part of the wonderful community in Peterborough.
