Lara Connell

LARA CONNELL grew up in the Kawartha Lakes and is the second oldest of twelve. She is a recent graduate of the University of St. Michael’s College at the University of Toronto, and a proud alumna of the inaugural Gilson Seminar in Faith and Ideas. During her time at UofT she grew in appreciation of the liberal arts after seeing the many fruits it bore in her own life. She is passionate about journeying alongside young people in educational spaces, as they grow in love of goodness, truth, and beauty. She is grateful for the opportunity to apply her academic formation, passion for Catholic Education, and leadership experience to the mission of Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic School.

Lara considers some of the greatest joys in life to be: drinking a perfectly frothed oat latte, reading Victorian novels, listening to Russian symphonies, spending time in adoration, and being around family and friends.
